According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan has given director Farah Khan the go-ahead for the “Main Hoon Na” sequel.
It has been claimed that Shah Rukh Khan has granted filmmaker Farah Khan the go-ahead for the follow-up to the 2004 blockbuster Mai Hoon Na.

Pinkvilla claims that the Shah Rukh Khan would only be “interested” in a sequel if the script is compelling and will live up to the excitement surrounding the beloved action-drama.

According to sources, Shah Rukh‘s close friend Farah has an idea that has piqued the actor’s interest, and the sequel is currently in the early stages of development.

Since it was their first significant project under Red Chillies, Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan have a particular place in their hearts for Main Hoon Na, the insider said.

“Farah has devised an exciting idea for the sequel, and Shah Rukh Khan is quite interested in the direction she plans to take,” they stated.

“She is currently collaborating with her team and the in-house writers from Red Chillies on the screenplay.”

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, is exercising caution, according to the report, insisting that the second film have the same effect as the first.

Shah Rukh has no desire to create a sequel only for the sake of doing so. They stated that he is aware of the significance of Main Hoon Na to viewers and wants the sequel to have just as much impact.

Before reaching a choice, he has told Farah and the writing team to concentrate on creating an engaging screenplay. By the middle of 2025, he should have reviewed the first draft.

Zayed Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Amrita Sing played key roles in the 2004 movie, which was produced by Gauri Khan and Ratan Jain.
