The Maleficent actress hopes Brad Pitt can finally move on and quit attacking her, according to a source who spoke to people.
For those who are unaware, on December 30, eight years later, Angelina and Brad reportedly approved their divorce, ending the legal struggle.
The Tomb Raider actress was “tired, but she’s glad this one part is over,” the source told the magazine.
According to an insider, Brad has effectively exploited his status and influence to punish Angelina for her departure, hide his actions at the expense of his family, and even try to blame her for his difficult connection with the kids.
“Angelina hopes the finalisation of their divorce will enable him to move on, stop attacking her, and instead help heal their family,” the insider said.
The actress “engaged in one-sided attacks for the past eight years, including a never-ending distortion of facts and projecting their behaviour onto others, causing tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family,” according to a second source close to the Troy star, who denied Angelina’s allegations and told PEOPLE.

It is important to note that after selling half of Château Miraval for $67 million in October 2021, Brad allegedly sued Angelina for breach of contract.
The actress has been “focused on finding peace and healing for their family,” according to Jolie’s lawyer James Simon, who told PEOPLE that she is glad this chapter is ended but feels “exhausted” from the process. According to a person close to Jolie, she hopes Pitt will “move on” and “stop attacking her,” as his behaviour has reportedly made their family dynamic more tense.
“Brad has successfully used his privilege and power to punish Angelina for leaving, to cover up his behaviour at his family’s expense, and to blame her for his strained relationships with their children,” the source asserted.
